Lifetime measurements of 162Er: Evolution of collectivity in the rare-earth region
NUCLEAR REACTIONS 154Sm(12C, 4n)162Er, E=62 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ-coin, half-life of 7(-) isomer by γ(t), level half-lives by γγ(t) fast-timing technique using the HORUS spectrometer with eight HPGe detectors and eight LaBr3(Ce) scintillation detectors at the 10 MV FN-Tandem accelerator of the University of Cologne. 162Er; deduced levels, J, π, B(E2). Comparison with confined β soft model and the interacting boson model calculations. Systematics of B(E2) values transition quadrupole moments and β2 deformation parameters for 158,160,162,164,166,168,170Er.
